News: Week of 11/16 – 11/22
Nov 17, 2009

Woot! Thanksgiving Celebration is this week! I can’t believe it! Wow we still have a lot of work to do before then, but I’m sure it’ll all come together in the end with everyone working hard on different parts! ^_^
Here’s some visual motivation:

We'll be having a Thanksgiving feast together after Thanksgiving Celebration.
The better you dance, the more turkey you get! ^_^ Well, not really…but hey! Look out below! There’s some announcements approaching!
WEDNESDAY
HOTSPOT
Cancelled
We’ll be canceling Hotspot for the week. Use the time to get your work done and get caught up in your classes so you can be stress free this weekend’s festivities!
FRIDAY
FROSH DINNER
6:00pm @ Crossroads
There will be no freshman LIFE Groups for the rest of the month of November, BUT we will be meeting together at Crossroads to have dinner together before bible study! See you there! ^_^
BIBLE STUDY
7:00pm @ 10 Evans (Note the different location)
We’ll be listening to a new message this week from our series on Incomparable Wisdom.
After bible study, we’re going to have practice for Thanksgiving Celebration.
FRESHMEN: Please remember to bring your costumes Friday night. You can just come wearing it.
SATURDAY
DANCE PRACTICE
2:30pm – 4:30pm @ Dwinelle Steps
Our last practice before the big event!
Afterwards, we’ll go try to catch the Big Game somewhere! (Please beat Stanford…)
SUNDAY
THANKSGIVING CELEBRATION PICKUPS
11:45am @ Crossroads (south side residents) & La Loma (north side residents)
Since Sunday Service and Thanksgiving Celebration will be at Kofman Auditorium in Alameda, we’ll be providing rides at 11:45am (don’t be late) to take y’all to Alameda. Please let your staff know if you can/cannot make it so that we can work out rides. Thanks!
Whew! That was a lot, but we got a lot going on this week! ^_^ I’m so excited! I hope you are too!

Yay!!!!!!!
can’t wait to see everyone perform
and of course you can’t forget the food! =)
yellow turkey as visual incentive?!
The food, the fellowship, and the fun all make thanksgiving awesome, but remember the definition of the work – we are to give thanks! Plug for Joel’s post on remembering what God has done
It’s gonna be awesome! wow, those kairos frosh look light on their feet.
