Bowlin’ w/ Kairos!
Sep 16, 2009
Hope everyone had a refreshing weekend as Cal stomped all over Eastern Washington. Last Friday @ Kairos we had an equally awesome bible study and bowling night at Country Club Bowl in San Rafael. It started off with some rockin’ praise introducing some of our new praise band members.

Here's sophomore Steven Chang on the drums!

Pearlene on the Keyboard

Angel and Catarina on the vocals

After the praise we had the Masks skit.
Steve Kim then gave a rousing message on why we don’t need to put masks on anymore. He interviewed some of the upperclassmen and asked them what masks they put on. He concluded with the fact that our search for significance is over because God already knows us!
Well, after that Bible study we headed over the San Rafael bridge (or at least most of us…) for an awesome bowling night. 2 hours of action packed fun with A2f Bowling right next to us. I believe the high score of the night was Andy Tung with 208. I heard there were a few turkeys (3 strikes in a row) that night as in the lane right next to mine, our very own junior Stephen Chee bowled an awesome turkey. Anyways, here’s a few more pictures of the night! Don’t forget to join us next week at 112 Wurster for our weekly Kairos Bible Study!!

wow..thanks for the recap will! it was truly an action-packed night! the skit and message were awesome! man…i love those bowling photos! especially the serious asian family portrait one..
Wow! It was really a good night with a lot of fun, just remember that Andy bowled for many years don’t be discouraged if you were like me and didn’t even break a hundred. It’s okay! Be sure to come out this week for a different skit and another thought provoking talk.
That last photo is rather scary. And on the opposite end of the spectrum, Richard Leung’s pose is hilarious. I crack up every time I see it.
Wow, these pictures looked great! We had a great time and everyone in our lane owes me yogurt land from a game of bowling!! haha!
Hahaha awesome pictures! =D I’m definitely looking forward to more bonding and fellowshipping with all of you!
Bowling was sweeet! Haha I love the picture of Team John Korea (the very last picture).
