Sundaes on Monday!

It’s been a exciting week here for students coming to Cal and just as exciting for us here at Kairos. This Monday at Kairos we had an exciting event called “Sundaes on Monday” where new students came and enjoyed some ice cream sundaes while playing games, stuffing themselves with chocolatey goodness, and meeting other students and Cal alumni. We had a great time and met tons of friends.
On top of that we had an extreme event called the Kairos Challenge. The point of this challenge was to eat 4 large scoops of ice cream with all the fixings under 8 minutes. If you finished it you got a free Kairos Challenge t-shirt! Sounds easy and doesn’t look that hard…. but boy it wasn’t easy haha.

I was surprised that Edward got the best time! Incredible. I saw Andy Tung go for the challenge as well, too bad that he had a few scoops before going up there. Next time Andy, next time.
Man..the speed that the challengers were downing the ice cream was amazing…it was great to meet some new students over some yummy ice cream tho!!
Man! That Kairos Challenge was too much!
I felt my age when all these guys were finishing it around me but i was majorly struggling through it. Next, year, i’m not going to eat dinner right before or have 3 large scoops of ice cream either!
Usually, I LOVE ice cream, but the Kairos challenge was … wow. HAHAHAHA. That’s all I can say.
Man, that challenge was pretty awesome! It was great watching all of you stuff your faces with ice cream haha. You guys all did a pretty good job. Totally looks easier than it is huh?
Btw Dave, I like how you signed up your buddy Mike haha.
