Photo Recap: 1st Home Worship
Jun 18, 2009
We had our first home worship at Steve and Eunice’s place on May 31, 2009. It was a nice, small, and cozy group; very different from the usual large group SWS’s which I’m sure we are all used to having. But the great thing about this new setting is that we can have closer fellowship, more engaging services, AND we can all fit onto or around one couch to take a group picture like this:

looks cozy! miss you guys!
were the blueberries eunice b kim’s idea? =)
Wow, as usual, the group with Richard Dongses always has the best pictures! The blueberries and strawberry picture is good enough to eat!
I also look forward to getting to know everyone in your kairos group this year!
home worship experience is great! if you’ve never tried it…gotta check it out this summer! amazing things happen like today when my friend john “korea”, who is almost twice the age of many of the undergrads, scored 7 shots in a row in a 4 on 4 half court game! to see things like this ya gotta check it out for yourself! seeing is believing! =)
Thanks for the pictures, Richard! That’s my peer!
Wow…John korea’s still got it huh? Who was guarding him? Roy? =) j/k That blueberry and strawberry looks great.
Hey thanks guys for the props. But I can’t take the credit for the photos. They were taken by another avid photographer, Chris Ko. Thanks Chris for the photos! I as well love that blueberry/strawberry shot! I actually just got back in town from a retreat, so I missed John Korea’s devastating bball skills. Hopefully next time!
How have you guys been liking the Truth Project? I think when P. Ed and Andy first described this DVD to us and kept emphasizing that it is very dry, I had my doubts and was very skeptical of this curriculum. But, now as we have gone through 5 lessons, I really like the material and find it very challenging and thought provoking. Along with P. Ed’s “Truth Hater” message series on Friday nights, I think this summer is packed with many messages and all of us, if we take it seriously, can learn a lot!
