Today was the final day of Impact SummerFest 2009!! There were over 160 volunteers from Gracepoint Berkeley that came together to welcome over 100 kids from Oakland and Alameda!! If you were involved, this year or in the past, how was your experience?

We are a Christian campus fellowship at UC Berkeley. We believe that the Bible is still very relevant in this day and age, and we live life and have fun together.

Neato! From the pictures, I’m not sure what Robert is supposed to be. It looks like he’s some sort of guardian angel ready to take off.
It seems like everyone had fun, especially Alan as he’s about to show the Impact kids how to drink all those different colored mixtures at once. =D
I was part of the Dynamic Drama team – and that picture was our team showing off the different animals of the ImpACT Wildlife reserve. I’m an elephant, Abe, thank you very much. My experience really gave me a burden, just seeing how these young impressionable people have had so such an unhealthy worldview forced onto them – focusing on strength, focusing on beauty, and trying to find values in romance or other things that do not satisfy.
I was a team lead during Impact Springfest 2006. It was an awesome experience that led to 3 years of serving in children’s ministry. Today, I had the privilege of watching those kids graduate from Joyland. I was really sad to see them go but I’m also really excited for them as they join Element this coming week!
