My most memorable moment(s) at Gracepoint Fellowship Church was going over to Lin’s apartment, hanging out with her roommates, sleeping over, eating all her food, and making cool rap videos. :D

  2. Jenny Zhao says:

I think for me there wasn’t one most memorable moment at GFC this past year, but a culmination of a lot of time sharing life together with my small group girls and peers. This year I lived with my small group girls in 2 apartments right across from each other, and we went through ups and downs, both struggles and really good times together, as would be expected of any group of girls. But, I think the most memorable times for me would be the nights together chatting and laughing, after having gotten to trust these girls and having gotten past misunderstandings between such a diverse group of girls. Realizing that we’re all fallible sinners but that God’s love and forgiveness binds us together, learning to be humble enough to accept our blindspots if they need to be brought up, sharing openly and honestly, and coming together to welcome people into our home or cook was all part of the process of growing together and learning to love each other. Let’s just say, I’ve learned a lot this past year and I can honestly say, I wouldn’t change it for anything! Plus, I can tell you all the funny quirks and stories about my roommates if you ever want to share in the fun! =)

I think my most memorable moment this year was during winter retreat where I saw for the first time, people I had been praying for (re)commit their lives to God.

Hi Fellow Kairosians who are in charging of giving out the tickets:

Sorry to show my competitive side but are you picking out of a random draw or based on the best post?

Thank you. more to come later.

Most memorable moment at GFC this past year?
    That’s too hard, omgosh haha.

One memorable thing I participated in was the Cambodia mission trip :]

  6. Lin mynameistooshort Ni says:

My most memorable moment at Gracepoint Fellowship Church this past year took place all the way across the Pacific Ocean. During winter break, I went to the Taiwan winter mission trip with about 50 of our church members from Berkeley and SF. We had a Christmas Celebration performance + message for the students near the end of our time there. Before the night started, I was very nervous about the turnout as we gathered backstage. In Taiwan, many of the students celebrate Christmas at dances or with their dates, would they come to hear about the story of Jesus’ birth, the real meaning of Christmas? But more students came than the place could hold, and in the end, over 40 people indicated interest in learning more about Christianity or checking out our group in Hsinchu! It was amazing to see God at work even though I couldn’t do much for Him except obey. It was the best Christmas I ever had, spending time with brothers and sisters in Christ, serving a God who is so good and loves us with so much grace.

Wow, free tickets? I have a feeling that there’s no way I’m winning these tickets, ppl might think the thing was rigged or something :) But I still want to share my most memorable time.

Hmmm. Boy, this is hard, but I would say it was GLIVE!! Ok, that was too common of an answer. Then how about seeing the seniors graduate and move on to praxis!! That was pretty amazing seeing them grow from their freshmen year 4 years ago! Then of course there were the outings to Sierra lodge, the bike rides to SF and Lake Chabot, the winter retreat with the salvation decisions, baptism, c101, and life groups. Oh my, I guess i cheated by basically mentioning tons of stuff. HAHA

most memorable moment at gracepoint fellowship church this past year…
hmm…how about seeing the look on stephanie and catarina’s faces right before i tackled them in the snow at sierra lodge!! :)
ok actually one very memorable moment was the end of the year hawaiian-themed party where the srs shared what they are thankful for and gave advice to the underclassmen.

another was celebrating in the overflow together during the last performance of GLive!
